Key Responsibilities: Carry out vehicle servicing and repairs to manufacturer standards. Perform MOT tests in compliance with regulations and provide clear feedback to customers. Diagnose faults and recommend solutions to enhance vehicle performance. Ensure all work is completed efficiently and to a high quality. Maintain accurate documentation and records of work done, parts used, and any recommendations made. Collaborate with team members to achieve the dealership's objectives. Uphold a safe and compliant working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations. Skills & Experience Required: Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician. Valid MOT Testing Certificate is preferred. Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Specialising in the sale and servicing of commercial vehicles, they are looking for an experienced and commercially aware Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their friendly, professional team at their Heathrow site. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous purchase ledger or accounts payable experience—ideally within the automotive industry—who is looking to further their career in a supportive and dynamic environment. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices and payments, as well as supporting wider accounting functions. You'll work closely with a small, focused finance team and engage regularly with suppliers to maintain strong working relationships. Key Responsibilities Invoice Processing: Verify, process, and scan supplier invoices in line with company policies. Payment Processing: Manage payment runs, maintain schedules, reconcile card statements, and handle staff expenses. Reconciliation: Reconcile supplier statements, investigate and resolve discrepancies, and maintain accurate transaction records. Financial Support: Assist in the preparation of financial reports. Supplier Relations: Communicate professionally with suppliers and resolve any queries efficiently. Compliance: Support audit processes and ensure adherence to internal controls and regulatory requirements. Skills and Experience Required Experience in a fast-paced accounts or purchase ledger environment. Strong working knowledge of accounting software (Kerridge experience preferred) and MS Office, particularly Excel. High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy. Strong organisational and time-management skills. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
