About the Role
Garage Manager/Workshop Manager – Family-Run Independent Garage Bicester - Oxfordshire
- £40,000 – £45,000 basic salary, dependent on experience
- Monday to Friday only – no weekends

Our client is a well-established, small family-run automotive independent garage looking for an experienced Garage Manager to lead their small, stable team. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys running a smooth operation, building customer trust, and working in a supportive, no-drama environment.
The Role
- Oversee the day-to-day running of the garage
- Lead and support a small team of skilled technicians
- Manage job flow, bookings, and workshop efficiency
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and customer service
- Handle customer enquiries, estimates, and vehicle handovers
- Ensure health & safety and compliance are always met
About You
- Proven experience in a garage or workshop management role
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of workshop operations
- A calm, practical leader who leads by example
- Customer-focused, organised, and reliable
- Comfortable working in a close-knit, family business
