Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicles efficiently and effectively.
  • Lead and mentor junior technicians, fostering a collaborative team environment.
  • Oversee the quality of workmanship and service provided by the workshop team.
  • Interact with customers to provide updates on vehicle status and explain repairs needed.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality regulations within the workshop.
  • Conduct regular vehicle inspections and advise on potential issues to clients.
  • Manage parts and inventory to ensure timely availability of necessary components for repairs.
Skills & Experience Required:
  • Proven experience as a Senior Vehicle Technician within an automotive environment.
  • Strong diagnostic skills and knowledge of vehicle systems and technologies.
  • Experience in leading and motivating a team of technicians.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a strong customer focus.
  • Self-motivated with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Automotive Engineering).
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
