Key Responsibilities

Carry out diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on luxury vehicles to the highest standards.

Keep up to date with evolving vehicle technologies and industry best practice.

Skills & Experience Required

Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician, ideally with luxury or high-performance brands.

Relevant automotive qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).

Strong diagnostic capability and in-depth understanding of vehicle systems.

Ability to work independently and as part of a fast-paced team.

Excellent problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.

Confident communication skills with both colleagues and customers.

This role offers a rare opportunity to work on a varied and prestigious range of vehicles, including classic and heritage models, where craftsmanship, attention to detail, and mechanical understanding are essential. Previous experience with classic vehicles is highly desirable; however, a genuine passion and enthusiasm for working on these vehicles will also be strongly considered.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out diagnostics, servicing, repairs, and restoration-related work on classic, heritage, and luxury vehicles
Work with both modern diagnostic equipment and traditional mechanical systems
Maintain accurate and detailed records of all work completed
Apply a methodical, careful approach to ensure the highest standards of workmanship
Stay up to date with evolving automotive techniques while respecting heritage engineering principles
Work collaboratively with a skilled team to deliver outstanding results
Provide an exceptional level of service that reflects the prestige of the vehicles and clientel
Skills & Experience Required
Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician
Experience working on classic or heritage vehicles or a clear passion and strong interest in this area
NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)
Strong mechanical and diagnostic ability
Excellent attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship
Ability to work independently and as part of a close-knit team
Confident communication skills

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Workshop Controller to join our busy LCV operation based at Heathrow. This is a pivotal role, responsible for the efficient day-to-day running of the workshop, ensuring productivity, quality, and compliance while meeting operational and customer demands.
Key Responsibilities
Control and coordinate daily workshop operations
Allocate and prioritise work to technicians
Monitor workflow, productivity, and vehicle turnaround times
Ensure servicing and repairs meet manufacturer and company standards
Liaise with service advisors, parts, and management teams
Manage labour efficiency and workshop performance
Maintain health & safety and compliance standards
Provide technical support and guidance to technicians
Requirements
Previous experience as a Workshop Controller, Workshop Supervisor, or Senior Technician/Foreman
Strong LCV technical knowledge
Proven ability to manage workload in a fast-paced environment
Excellent organisational and leadership skills
Good communication and IT skills
Full UK driving licence (essential)
