Our client, a well-established independent garage based in the Bromley area, is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Vehicle Technician to join their professional team. Key Responsibilities:

Conduct routine servicing and maintenance on a diverse range of vehicles.

Diagnose and repair faults using modern diagnostic equipment and techniques.

Attend to vehicle inspections and issue repair estimates in a clear and professional manner.

Ensure all work is completed to manufacture standards and complies with health and safety regulations.

Maintain accurate records of work carried out for each vehicle.

Assist in identifying potential issues and providing solutions to clients.

Work efficiently to meet deadlines while maintaining high quality of workmanship.
Skills & Experience Required:

Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician, ideally within an independent garage setting.

Competence in performing vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and servicing.

Level 2 or Level 3 Motor Vehicle Service & Repair qualification (or equivalent).

Good knowledge of modern vehicle systems and diagnostic tools.

Strong attention to detail and a high standard of workmanship.

Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work independently.

Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach.

The Role:
As Aftersales Advisor, you will be the main point of contact for customers, ensuring a professional and positive experience throughout their visit. Your duties will include:
Handling telephone enquiries
Greeting customers on arrival
Communicating with customers throughout the day, advising of any additional work required
Liaising closely with the workshop
Ordering parts as needed
The Ideal Candidate:
A minimum of 12–18 months’ customer-facing experience within the motor trade
Confident, professional, and customer-focused
Able to deliver a high standard of service to help uphold the company’s strong reputation
Organised and comfortable working in a busy environment
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday: 8:00am – 5:15pm (1-hour lunch break)
Saturday mornings: 8:00am – 12:00pm (1 in 3 Saturdays, paid at overtime rates)
