Monday Matters Recruitment is seeking a Vehicle Technician to join a highly respected independent specialist garage in Swanley, Kent. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional with a passion for high-performance vehicles to work in a dynamic and well-equipped workshop.
As a Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for the diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of specialist vehicles to the highest standards. You must be confident working with complex diagnostic procedures and advanced electrical systems across both modern and classic vehicles. Working alongside a skilled and knowledgeable team, you will ensure every vehicle receives expert care and attention.
Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults using specialist diagnostic equipment

Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repair work to manufacturer and prestige standards

Confidently undertake complex diagnostic and electrical fault-finding

Supervise and support junior technicians, ensuring quality and safety standards are met

Work closely with the service team to maintain efficient workflow and high customer satisfaction

Accurately document all work completed, including parts used and labour time

Keep up to date with the latest automotive technologies and industry best practices
Skills & Experience Required:

Proven experience as a Senior Vehicle Technician

Strong diagnostic skills and ability to work with classic and modern vehicle systems

VAG/ Prestige Car experience preferred but not essential

NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in automotive repair

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

We're looking for a People & Safety Coordinator to join a respected prestige automotive dealership in Orpington. This is a fantastic opportunity to become an integral part of the business, supporting both the employee journey and ensuring the highest standards of health, safety and compliance across the site. No two days will be the same. From coordinating recruitment and onboarding to supporting health and safety compliance, you'll play a key role in creating a safe, compliant and positive workplace.
The Role:
Reporting into the Business Support function, you'll be responsible for supporting all aspects of HR administration, recruitment coordination and health & safety compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Human Resources
Manage the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding and offboarding.
Prepare contracts, offer letters and HR correspondence.
Coordinate inductions and ensure all new starter documentation is completed.
Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems.
Manage sickness, absence and return-to-work documentation.
Coordinate driver licence checks.
Organise company uniforms and IT equipment for starters and leavers.
Liaise with IT providers to coordinate user setup and removal.
Support employee relations administration.
Ensure compliance with employment legislation and company policies.
Recruitment
Coordinate end-to-end recruitment campaigns.
Write and advertise vacancies across recruitment platforms.
Screen applications and shortlist candidates.
Arrange interviews with hiring managers.
Maintain candidate communications and recruitment records.
Support workforce planning and onboarding of successful candidates.
Health & Safety
Support the implementation of Health & Safety policies and procedures.
Coordinate mandatory training and maintain training records.
Monitor statutory inspections and compliance across workshop and bodyshop facilities.
Coordinate contractor visits and compliance documentation.
Maintain accident, incident and near-miss records.
Support investigations and monitor corrective actions.
Organise monthly Health & Safety meetings.
Liaise with external Health & Safety consultants.
Assist with audits, risk assessments and policy reviews.
Monitor maintenance schedules and statutory servicing requirements.
About You:
Experienced within HR administration or HR coordination.
Comfortable managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
Professional, approachable and confident communicating across all levels.
Able to work independently while also being a collaborative team member.
Knowledgeable in employment legislation and HR best practice.
Previous Health & Safety administration or compliance experience would be highly advantageous.
Experience within the automotive sector is desirable but not essential.
