Our client, a leading car dealership based in Medway, Kent, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Vehicle Technician/ MOT Tester to join their vibrant team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring vehicles are maintained to the highest standards and will contribute to a positive customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:

Carry out vehicle servicing and repairs to manufacturer standards.

Perform MOT tests in compliance with regulations and provide clear feedback to customers.

Diagnose faults and recommend solutions to enhance vehicle performance.

Ensure all work is completed efficiently and to a high quality.

Maintain accurate documentation and records of work done, parts used, and any recommendations made.

Collaborate with team members to achieve the dealership's objectives.

Uphold a safe and compliant working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Skills & Experience Required:

Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician.

Valid MOT Testing Certificate is preferred.

Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Requirements
3+ years’ experience in a senior service advisor role.
Strong knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance processes.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Organised, detail-focused, and confident with IT systems.
Team-oriented with a positive, solutions-focused attitude.
A full UK driving licence is essential.
