The Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Accountant/ Bookkeeper to join a busy and growing business group. You will be responsible for managing the accounts of five businesses, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and effective financial management across all areas.

Key Responsibilities:

Managing day-to-day bookkeeping and financial records across five businesses

Handling accounts payable and receivable

Preparing and reconciling invoices, payments, and receipts

Conducting cashflow forecasting and monitoring company finances

Managing credit control and supplier accounts

Supporting financial planning and management reporting

Processing payroll and submitting returns to HMRC

Preparing and assisting with VAT returns

Liaising with external accountants
About You:

Proven experience as an Accountant or Bookkeeper (experience within the automotive or engineering sector advantageous)

Confident user of Xero accounting software

Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy

Strong organisational and time management skills

Clear communicator with a proactive, professional attitude

Able to work independently and manage multiple sets of accounts effectively

About the Role:
Monday Matters Recruitment is delighted to be working with a long-standing independent garage in Ashford, known for its friendly team and loyal customer base. We’re looking for an experienced and proactive Aftersales/ Parts Advisor to join their busy workshop. This role is primarily focused on parts — sourcing, ordering, and managing stock — but also includes front-of-house duties, such as speaking with customers, taking calls, and supporting the service team when needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and source vehicle parts for workshop jobs and retail customers.
Manage parts stock levels, supplier orders, and returns.
Support technicians with accurate and timely parts supply.
Handle customer enquiries in person and over the phone.
Take service bookings and relay workshop updates to customers when required.
Maintain accurate records using the garage management system.
About You:
Experience in a Parts Advisor or Aftersales role within an automotive environment (independent garage or dealership).

The Role:
As a Parts Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our workshop and retail customers receive the correct parts promptly and efficiently.
