Tyre Fitter / Trainee Technician Location: Edenbridge, Kent Salary: £32,000 per year Job Type: 5 day week including a Saturday My client are a busy, well-established independent garage in Edenbridge looking for a Tyre Fitter / Trainee Technician to join their friendly workshop team. This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced tyre fitter who is keen to develop their mechanical skills and progress into a technician role. Full support and on-the-job training will be provided for the right candidate. What You'll Be Doing Fitting, repairing and replacing tyres on cars and light commercial vehicles. Wheel balancing and tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) work. Carrying out puncture repairs. Performing wheel alignment (training can be provided). Assisting technicians with vehicle servicing, brakes, suspension and other mechanical repairs. Learning to carry out routine maintenance and basic diagnostic work. Maintaining a clean, safe and organised workshop. What We're Looking For Experience as a tyre fitter is preferred. A willingness to learn and develop into a qualified technician. A positive attitude and strong work ethic. Good attention to detail and pride in your work. Ability to work well as part of a team. Full UK driving licence preferred. What We Offer £32,000 per year salary. Five-day working week, including Saturdays, with a weekday off. Full-time, permanent position.
