Monday Matters Recruitment is working confidentially with a highly respected, long-established vehicle accident repair centre in Kent to recruit an experienced Parts Advisor.
 
This is a rare opportunity to join a family-run business with nearly 60 years of heritage, operating from a purpose-built facility and holding multiple manufacturer approvals alongside the BSI Kitemark BS10125 standard. The business is known for its investment in people, technology, and doing things properly.
 
The Role:
Reporting to the Bodyshop Manager/ Workshop Controller, you’ll take ownership of the end-to-end parts process, ensuring technicians receive the right parts at the right time to keep repairs flowing smoothly and key-to-key times to a minimum. This is a hands-on, detail-driven role at the heart of the workshop operation.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Accurately identify parts using Electronic Parts Catalogues (EPC), VIN data, and estimator reports
  • Order parts from OEM dealerships and approved aftermarket suppliers, balancing speed and cost
  • Inspect all deliveries immediately for damage, errors, or discrepancies
  • Organise, label, and manage parts per job, maintaining a clean and secure parts area
  • Communicate daily with the Workshop Controller regarding back orders or delays
  • Process returns and credits efficiently for incorrect or damaged parts
  • Maintain accurate records within the Bodyshop Management System and Audatex
What We’re Looking For:
  • Previous experience in an automotive parts role (bodyshop or dealership strongly preferred)
  • Confident using technical diagrams and parts catalogues
  • Exceptionally detail-oriented with strong organisational skills
  • Clear, professional communicator when dealing with suppliers and workshop staff
  • Comfortable with inventory systems and Microsoft Office (Excel / Outlook)
  • Physically able to handle large vehicle components (bumpers, doors, panels, etc.)
Package & Benefits:
  • £27,000 – £33,000 per annum (depending on experience)
