Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet customers warmly and professionally upon arrival, establishing rapport and understanding their service needs
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers throughout their service journey
  • Accurately record customer vehicle details and service requirements into the dealership’s system
  • Provide clear explanations of the work required and associated costs, ensuring transparency and customer trust
  • Coordinate with workshop staff to establish realistic service and repair timelines
  • Update customers on vehicle progress and ensure all their questions and concerns are addressed promptly
  • Assist with the preparation of invoices and finalising service transactions efficiently
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of dealership products, services, and promotions to upsell where appropriate
  • Contribute to the overall smooth operation of the service department, supporting team members as needed
Skills & Experience Required:
  • Previous experience as a Service Advisor within an automotive environment
  • Strong customer service skills with an empathetic approach to client needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good organisational and time management abilities
  • Ability to explain technical information clearly to customers
  • Proficient with dealership management systems and Microsoft Office suite
  • A professional appearance and a positive attitude
