Monday Matters Recruitment is currently recruiting on behalf of a reputable main dealership in Gillingham, Kent for a motivated and results-driven Car Sales Executive to join their growing sales team.
 
This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious sales professional looking to develop their career within the automotive industry. The successful candidate will be passionate about delivering exceptional customer service, building strong client relationships, and exceeding sales targets in a fast-paced environment.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage with prospective customers to understand their requirements and recommend suitable vehicle options
  • Manage the full sales journey from initial enquiry through to vehicle handover, ensuring a seamless customer experience
  • Utilise CRM systems effectively to manage leads, follow-ups, and customer interactions
  • Identify opportunities to upsell additional products and services to maximise revenue and customer value
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with both retail and B2B clients to encourage repeat business and referrals
  • Demonstrate professional phone etiquette and excellent communication skills at all times
  • Coordinate appointments, test drives, follow-up calls, and meetings efficiently
  • Stay up to date with vehicle specifications, promotions, finance packages, and industry trends
Candidate Requirements:
  • Previous experience in automotive sales or B2B sales is highly desirable
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills with a target-driven mindset
  • Excellent organisational abilities and the capability to manage multiple customer enquiries simultaneously
  • Confident communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience using CRM software and sales management systems
  • Ability to upsell products and services while maintaining customer trust and satisfaction
  • Multilingual or bilingual skills would be advantageous
  • A proactive, enthusiastic, and customer-focused attitude
