Classic & Luxury Vehicle Technician
Hatfield, Hertfordshire
Salary: Up to £45,000 basic + bonus
Hours: Monday–Thursday: 8:00am–5:00pm
Friday: 8:00am–4:30pm
No weekends

The Opportunity

Monday Matters Recruitment is delighted to be working in partnership with a respected independent automotive specialist in Hatfield, Hertfordshire. They are now seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician with a strong interest in classic, heritage, and luxury vehicles.

This role offers a rare opportunity to work on a varied and prestigious range of vehicles, including classic and heritage models, where craftsmanship, attention to detail, and mechanical understanding are essential. Previous experience with classic vehicles is highly desirable; however, a genuine passion and enthusiasm for working on these vehicles will also be strongly considered.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out diagnostics, servicing, repairs, and restoration-related work on classic, heritage, and luxury vehicles
  • Work with both modern diagnostic equipment and traditional mechanical systems
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of all work completed
  • Apply a methodical, careful approach to ensure the highest standards of workmanship
  • Stay up to date with evolving automotive techniques while respecting heritage engineering principles
  • Work collaboratively with a skilled team to deliver outstanding results
  • Provide an exceptional level of service that reflects the prestige of the vehicles and clientel

Skills & Experience Required

  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician
  • Experience working on classic or heritage vehicles or a clear passion and strong interest in this area
  • NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)
  • Strong mechanical and diagnostic ability
  • Excellent attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a close-knit team
  • Confident communication skills
