The Service Advisor will serve as the vital link between the dealership and its customers, ensuring that vehicle servicing and repairs are managed smoothly and efficiently. This individual will be responsible for managing customer bookings, advising on vehicle maintenance, and maintaining high standards of service delivery. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong understanding of automotive services and possess excellent interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport with clients.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet customers and understand their Vehicle Service requirements in a professional manner
  • Maintain a positive relationship with customers, providing updates and managing expectations throughout the service process
  • Book service and repair appointments, ensuring schedules and priorities are optimised
  • Upsell additional services where appropriate, increasing customer satisfaction and dealership sales
  • Accurately record customer information and vehicle details in the dealership system
  • Coordinate with workshop technicians to ensure timely completion of services and repairs
  • Follow up on completed jobs to confirm customer satisfaction and solicit feedback
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge on dealership services and vehicle features
Skills & Experience Required:
  • Proven experience as a Service Advisor within a car dealership or automotive environment
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Sound knowledge of automotive services and diagnostic processes
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
  • Professional attitude with a friendly and approachable demeanor
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • IT literacy, including experience with dealership management systems
